When a force known only as the Silence is released from its prison, a group of monks, The Last Order of the Echo, must band together to prevent a fifth war and the destruction of the Vael.

AN ANCIENT TALE

Eighteen years have passed since Elmira led her people in the last of the four wars against the Silence, banishing it to the realm of mirrors. Time enough for people to forget…Some remember. The Last Order of the Echo maintain a vigil over the land, standing guard against the return of the Silence and a fatal fifth war. When a scheming royal adviser and a jealous army general manipulate the Queen into acting rashly, the Order are divided and scattered across the realm. If they are to have any chance saving their future, the monks must reunite. 

DEBUT LOCAL FILM WITH NO BUDGET

Mirrorvael is the debut film from Canny Pictures. Created with no budget, it is intended as a pilot episode for a longer television drama. All cast and crew worked on a voluntary basis with costumes either being donated or made from recycled materials.
