Comedy based on a true story of a Jamaican bobsleigh team who fight many odds, including a reluctant coach, to compete in the 1988 Winter Olympics.

The film has been chosen by our Beacon Films Volunteer, Phil Coghill, who hosts the Beacon Films Cinema Society. Phil will give a short presentation to introduce the film of about 20 minutes before the screening. This film screening is kindly supported by Cinema For All.

Introduction to the film starts approx 2.00pm.

This is a sensory friendly screening for adult audiences and to support our guests we do not recommend them for young children.

The film has been chosen by our Beacon Films Volunteers, who will be working on the screenings at the cinema.

If you need someone to support you to go to the cinema there are FREE tickets for carers or PA's.

The screening will have the lights up a bit in the cinema. 

The sound will be turned down a bit.

The film will be screened with English (SDH) Subtitles.

The seating will not be sold out, there will be space for social distancing.

Mask wearing is encouraged for people who can wear them.

The screening aims to have a relaxed, supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

There will be a break room nearby for anyone to use during the screening who needs it.
