An episodic history of manned flight from the middle ages up to the outbreak of WWII.

Film: Q Planes (1939)

Starring Ralph Richardson as a hyperactive spy and Laurence Olivier as a temperamental young pilot.

Featuring unlikely characters and an improbable plot, with dialogue largely improvised by the cast, this anarchic satire entertains with its tongue planted firmly in its cheek.
