...
Who we got then? In no particular order...

SHIFT-STATIC
MoB have been trying to book these obscenely talented whippersnappers for god knows how long, and we finally got them. Somebody rightly said that they are “Elegant and mysterious, their sound is soft words and sound loops that weave and float over a topography of sublime atmospherics.” They can also be pretty balls to the wall as well with some cracking beats. Have a listen at http://www.myspace.com/shiftstaticmusic where there is also a link to download their demo for free!

TIM SHAW

Best known for spinning records at some very popular nights at the World Headquarters discotheque, and for some stunning remix work, some of which we hope he plays for us. Have a listen to some of his latest mixes and remixes at http://soundcloud.com/timshaw - Lovely stuff!

SDF
The less said about these purveyors of ‘dancefloor magic’ the better. Their Myspace is a little under the weather at http://www.myspace.com/sdfcollective - life is easier at http://soundcloud.com/sdf - Live the dream!

MANNEQUIN LICKER
This guy is a maniac. Giving us a hit of contra-pop / dubstep/ electronic music from the decks – which will probably look less like a pair of turntables and more like something from Logan’s Run. Chase his mind at http://mannequinlicker.wordpress.com/ - Good hair!

ENRIQUE ICEGLASS
Enrique is brand spanking new. You have never seen this man before. Newcastle’s newest partially nude minimal synthwave monster. He exists at http://www.myspace.com/enriqueiceglass - Nice legs!

DJ LALYA
Lalya is the coolest young lady on the decks this evening. Bringing you the oldest and newest in underground and overground jungle, ragga, and hiphouse. Actually probably no hiphouse. If it’s on YouTube she’s already found it!

KUBA RYNIEWICZ
Newcastle’s favourite adopted son, and the loveliest man you’ll ever meet in blue plastic shoes and animalian knitwear. He’ll play the songs he loves, and you will love him for it.

ALESSANDRO ALTAVILLA & BEN FREETH
We are going to be treated to a unique live performance from this cross-continental duo. Do not miss it!

THIS WILL BE MASSIVE... Would be lovely to see you.
