Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong and his band all star in this Technicolor, Cole Porter musical for another classic SUNDAY SILVERS!

A well-to-do lady is set to marry into stability and potential boredom, but her free-loving, jazz musician ex-husband is set to win her back - although the dashing reporter has something to say about that!  Well, what is a gal to do?

SOME FACTS ABOUT HIGH SOCIETY:

High Society is the musical remake of the marvelous Philadelphia Story.  Perhaps that is an impossible film to top, but High Society doesn’t try to compete – it’s its own movie, musical, romance and farce.

High Society is Grace Kelly’s last film before she retired from the movies and became the Princess of Monaco.

Liz Taylor was originally desired for the role of Tracy Lord, but was busy at the time.

Cole Porter’s songs, ‘Well, Did You Evah?’ and ‘True Love’ feature in the film.  The former was added in at the last minute when it was realised that the two voices (Crosby and Sinatra) didn’t have a song together; the latter, an original for the film, was awarded a Platinum Record for selling over a million!
