On Friday 22nd March Tyneside chaos-rockers Swine Tax unleash some fresh music! To coincide with this momentous release we're thrilled to bring you a wondrous headline show at the wonderful Star and Shadow cinema.

This will be their last hometown performance before they begin their first European tour in April! Not one, two or even three but FOUR fantastic, captivating and emphatic rock bands will join them
------------------------
:: SWINE TAX ::
Combining visceral college-rock with angular post-punk, Swine Tax have established themselves as a distinctive and formidable band across their diverse catalog of single releases. Their frenetic music has so far earned the backing of many radio shows, music publications and tastemakers, including the likes of BBC 6 Music, Louder Than War and The Line of Best Fit.

"Clever wordplay, brashness, wry sense of humour, musical chops and politics" - Louder Than War.

:: NO TEETH ::
Experimental noise-rockers from Newcastle upon Tyne. They're without doubt one of the most exciting, inventive and indescribable bands in the North. Smashing different genres together and taking all their influences (DUDS, Pissed Jeans, Fat White Family) to a truly weird and wonderful place. Get amongst it!

:: WHITE LEGS ::
Members of This Ain't Vegas, BEAK, and The Lake Poets making new noise! This Sunderland trio are without question one of the brightest new bands around. Sharp post-punk / catchy art-rock with riffs of the highest calibre. Essential listening.
