Doon the Waggonway Devised and performed by Ken Patterson, Richard Scott and Chris Bostock Doon the Waggonway is a celebration of the lives of people living and working in the industrial North east, exploring their roots and culture in music, songs and stories. This show offers a selection traditional and new songs interlaced with stories ancient and modern, reflecting the lives of the people who lived, worked and travelled near where you live. Discovering something of our ancestors is often a delight - and that is just what we want to share with you doon the waggonway of history' Richard Scott, vocalist with the internationally renowned Grand Union Orchestra returns to his roots with coal mining songs Ken Patterson musician, composer, actor and painter is joined by Storyteller Chris Bostock - the grandfather of storytelling in the North East - who will bend you ear with magical tales.
