Fri 11 March 2011 // 19:30 / Cinema

Join us for an evening of Papuan revolutionary entertainment, film, music, and storytelling starting with the groundbreaking documentary, Forgetten Bird of Paradise; introduced by it's director and presenter, Dominic Brown.

Benny Wenda; West Papuan independence leader, international lobbyist for the of Freedom of West Papua from the Indonesian empire, will then bring us the heart rending escape story which led to his creation of the Free West Papua campaign.

He will then lead us into the world of the Lani Singer's, banned by the Indonesian government, for authentic Papuan body stomping folk beats and songs.

Static Vuze will then be stimulating us: http://www.facebook.com/l/09219tM9xJqSIGU6VkYCZlN5y6w/www.myspace.com/staticvuze
