What Our Parents Always Warned Us About!” The Independent Short Films Of Bernhard Marsch Part2 + Q&A

Dir. Bernhard Marsch, German / English Subs, Germany, Various

-
Fri 20 February 2015 // 19:30 / Cinema

This is the second part of our Bernard Marsch program. Cologne based Bernhard Marsch depicts a history of Germany from the margins: a trash-history, a Ramsch-history; “Ramsch”; his production company; translates junk or trash. Mix of nostalgia and a spirit of optimism or departure characterizes his films. He is part of a film collective similar to Star and Shadow Cinema in Cologne and is probably the only man who has sold a porn musical to the French with 10000 D-marks. Evening not to be missed! Followed by Q&A.

As a last minute addition, the screening is followed by 72nd birthday celebration of Carole Luby! The celebration will entail mingling at your own tempo, music and a light show accompanied by an audio performance by Phallictite ( It's like Helictite, but friendlier, happier and hairier).
