The magnum opus to one of the most impactful and artistic animes of all time. A true genre-pushing, terror-inducing, surreal piece of cosmic horror that is a tour-de-force from an auteur firing on full cyilnders. Existential despair has never been so grand!

Highly recommended to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion prior to this screening (it's only 26 episodes long!)

Also, one other point! It's an unusual film in that the credits are halfway during the film, be sure to stay when the mid-way credits roll for the second half of the film
