Doxology presents Iceboy Violet and Stolen Velour, performing live at Star & Shadow on 22/4/26.

Iceboy Violet storms back to Star & Shadow Cinema, having previously exhibited tracks from 'The Vanity Project' at Tusk After Dark 2002. The rapper, producer and founding member of Mutualism and boygirl has subsequently put out 'Not A Dream But A Controlled Explosion' and the Nueen collab 'You Said You'd Hold My Hand Through The Fire', and they are currently finishing another record. They've worked with an astonishing assortment of musicians, including Safety Trance, Loraine James, Blackhaine, aya, Blood Orange, Jennifer Walton, Space Afrika, Slikback, Rainy Miller, Nick León, Ziúr and Florence Sinclair, and they're bringing along Doxolumnus 96 Back as their touring DJ for this event.

Helping us to push the clocks forward into a post-club future, we've invited main support act Stolen Velour. A bioluminescent oceanic-trench Night Slug fading his mind on dubble-doses of hyperpop fizz, Stolen Velour has propagated a neo-neon-canon of dancefloor mutations via New York's Kindergarten imprint. At our vernal celebration he'll be showcasing his forthcoming EP (releasing on Mun Sing's Illegal Data), an Elysian Field recording of ethereal sun-bleached glossy-lalia reverberating off wub-wub-wobbling Blender sculptures.
