It’s a Pride drag movie double feature!

Just in time for Northern Pride, we’re throwing a fabulous kiki the weekend before the festival kicks off and showing you not one but two queer drag classics! 

We also have a drag performance by Newcastle's DGA Collective in the intermission!!

We’re starting at 6.30pm (prompt-ish) with the GOATed French classic La Cage aux Folles about a gay couple, Renato the owner of the a glamorous Saint Tropez night club and Albin aka Zaza Napoli the star attraction! When Renato’s son announces he’s marrying the daughter of ultra-conservative parents their world is turned upside down!

At 8pm, sandwiched between the two movies, we will have treats in store for our intermission so please keep a look out for our social media announcements!

8.30pm brings the Hollywood remake of La Cage of Folles - The Birdcage! With an endless all star cast of Robin Williams, Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman, Diane Wiest, Calista Flockhart and Christine Baranski! Where this time Armand and Albert aka Starina have to deal with their son marrying the daughter of a hard right Republican politician!
