Released on 28th Feb 2015, it was viewed over 300 million times in just 7 days before being taken down by the Chinese government on 7th March.

The film is narrated by Chai herself, who presents the results of her year-long research mostly in the form of a lecture, with footage from around China and interviews with officials, business owners and local people.
