A workshop with two speakers from Northumbria University. Professor Carole McCartney School of Law. Peter Hill Vice Chancellors Research Fellow in History.
Following the talks we will offer space to ask and discuss any questions arising from these issues.
This event has been initiated following the experiences of local Extinction Rebellion activists and others in the climate change protest movement.
Everyone is welcome to come long from 5pm and we will finish around 6.30 with an open invite to stay until 7.30pm to carry on the conversation... and have a drink... if you wish.
Please consider making a donation... (but don't let lack of funds stop you from coming along)... to the Star and Shadow as this space is a community owned coop and run by volunteers using a consensus based decision making process.
There is an anti war film on in the cinema at 7.30pm which is a PWYF entry and well worth seeing. Check the website for more.
